I have just become aware of my finite existence..

All of a sudden it dawned on me that my time here in life is limited and will soon be over. That the end will sneak up on me much like everything else in my life has. Time is moving faster and faster and there is nothing any of us can ever do to stop it.

It has left me feeling a bit worried about the future and makes me wonder if what I am doing is really worth it. I am sitting here wondering about those final moments before I die and what it will be like.. what I will regret not starting or finishing. Makes me think of what I do and what, if anything, is worth it.

In my opinion.. Until you accept your own mortality, you aren't going to be living life to the fullest.

Obviously, it's not good to obsess about death, but realizing that your time here is limited, should give you a kick in the arse that you gotta go out and make the best of your time, to walk your own path, and follow your dreams. In the end, we'll all be on equal ground, whether we are bill gates or an average joe.
