Yes people suffered many inequities and still do, but to say the perpetrators are "whites" is perpetuating the very mindset that keeps the racial discord continuing.

After all who has been through? That guy in the video? I doubt he's been through any of the civil rights movement you're talking about. The movement is over...PERIOD. I've had numerous discussions about this issue with my black friends. They said that the white man started the perception of the n word as something demeaning during the slavery era and therefore, he does not get to use it. However, if they are friends with the person and in a playful, joking way, it may be used - but probably not. They have said that some minorities can use it however. Many use the n word to call each other "my brother".

Not really. Whites are the power base and were the power base. When I say whites, I mean people of European descent. Yes, some Europeans from other parts of Europe did face hardship when they first migrated to America. That is a fact. But over time, they integrated into America society. They joined other "whites" in the workforce and in society. The same cannot be said of blacks.

They never became integrated up until a few decades ago. They were denied rights. We will not even touch slavery for the time being. They had to struggle to be where they are today. And today, they are not where they want to be. Bill Cosby is correct and yet he is ignored and put aside by the black community. It is much of their own fault. But you cannot ignore past events because they have influenced what is taking place today.

I agree with your last two sentences. The lesser was overwhelmed by the unfair greater in this scene.
