I am currently composing a comprehensive microeconomic model of the demand side of the beer production market. I have all of the figures for beer sales, barley and hops prices, gross alcohol sales, spirts sales, wine sales, the CPI and changes in disposable income levels over the last thirty years.

This is gunna be so woot.

I'm wondering how deep into the compliments side of the model I need to go in.... the only real compliments that come to mind are pizza and peanuts... but lol, how much of a difference in beer demand can that make?

I wonder if there are any "agregate stress indexes"

Compliments like stuff that goes along with alcohol? Or that makes you wish you had some right there?

Fat and carbs are obvious nowadays...beer sales suffer from that. As for what compliments it, it can be anything. Where I come from (Poland) we drink beer for just about any reason and with anything. Living here though, Id say chicken wings and burgers, or other bar foods, but wings certainly want to make me drink beer, and vice versa

Yo Astaroth33, he made a simple mistake and most of us understood what he meant. I realize you're correcting him, but why say something juvenille like 'You must have failed basic English'. If you said that to me in normal conversation, one of us would have a blooldy mouth and be on the floor. It's a college assignment, most likely he didn't fail basic English.

But, still, i appreciate the info, thanks!

Oh my God... you guys will never believe this.

Alcohol consumption per capita peaked in 1981, even when you include underage consumption. WTF is that!??!?!
