Well somehow outside, something flew into my eye. Not sure, probably dirt. Stupid me rubs my eye. Well that was yesterday.

Today, it's still bothering me. Feels like something is in my eye, and it keeps tearing. Any kind of drops I can buy to make my eye feel better?

You might have something still in your eye, or you might have just slightly scratched your cornea.

There are dozens of OTC eye drops that should relieve the discomfort, I carry eye drops on me at all times to re-wet my RGP contact lenses.

Only one I tried was visine and that didn't help. Maybe I'll go out and buy something different today. I looked in my eye, I couldnt find anything.

check your eyelids, and eyelashes.. sometimes there might be tiny tiny specs which could cause irritation.

if that doesn't work, go to an eye doctor.

Bah, so I can't find anything in my eye. What will the eye doctor do anyway? It's gonna be a pain getting to one. I dont think I can get to one today, because I can't get a ride from anyone.

I was hoping I could get some drops to just help.

If you haven't already flushed your eye out with lots of water, do that. I find it easiest to do this in the shower. Just stick your face in the water stream and keep your eyes open wide. It's uncomfortable at first, but then you get used to it.

If you've already flushed your eye out, then like Viper GTS said, you probably have a scratch on your eye. It'll take a few days for the irritation to subside. In the meantime, try not to mess with it too much. And make sure your hands are clean if you do have to touch your eye, so you don't get an infection.

I got a staph infection in my eye from a scratch Normally it would never have occured except I had mono at the time so my immune system was weakened significantly. I went to the eye doctor ASAP and am very glad I did. I had to do 2 different drops every 30 minutes for the first day. I could have lost my eye . Luckily I (pun?) fully recovered. And my eyesight actually improved because it corrected some of the mishapeness of my eye (I norammly wear contacts). Go to the eye docter and he will give you some antibacterial drops at the least to help you heal! A similar thing just happened to my dad the other day.

Bottom line: go to the optomitrist.

Go to the doctor's, you may have something stuck up on the inside of the eyelid or have a scratch. Take care of your eyes, they don't heal as much as alot of other body parts do.

Yup, sounds like you may have scratched your cornea. It will feel like there is something in there until it heals. If you go to the doc they can put in some dye and look at it under a blacklight to check for scratches, totally painless. Don't mess with your eyes, you only have two.

Depending on the severity of the abrasion they may also prescribe antibiotic eye drops, I had a moderate ulcer on my cornea & was prescribed ocuflox. Eye infections are NOT something to f*** around with, you can lose your vision.

That'll teach you to play with Red Rider BB Guns J/K. Seriously, go to the doc and have them check it out. You don't want to mess around with your eyes.

I flushed my eye out, and it's feeling a lot better. Should i just like go to the hospital or go look for an eye doctor? It's kinda hard for me to get to one right now anyway because my parents are at work, and I don't have any ride, or money.

Wait for your parents, they prolly have your insurance info anyways . Most of the time a couple of hours wont make too much of a difference. If your eye is feeling better its most likely that whatever was in it came out so no further damage will be caused. You stil need to get it checked though!

I had glass in my eye once. Same thing, felt like I had someting in it for a few days, but I could not see anything in my eye. Finaly went to doctor, he put dye in my eye and saw the glass. He removed it, but my eye hurt for about a week after, what do you expect with glass in you'er eye? Anyway, had I gone sooner, it would have been better. GO TO THE DOCTOR!
