Nice Brock.

I got the one I bought off ebay last night. It was $140 and they gave me 12-13 ebay bucks on top of that.

I'm happy with it. I've been using a 22'' LG for a couple of years now and this thing is HUGEEE compared.

I do have one wonky pixel when I tested out some 1080p video. Comes up blue at some points but then will go away. The pixel didn't come up at all when I was playing mass effect.

Seeing how it is only partial stuck you might be able to rub it out or use a program like this to fix it.

I've never seen so many people admit to having dead or stuck pixels and yet most still state they love the monitor regardless.
I wonder if its due to just the sheer size or if the monitor is that good otherwise.
So, if you're lucky and get one with no pixel issues or they dont bother you, this definitely looks like a good choice for a cheap/large display.

Thinking about grabbing one for the wife, she has a Hannspree 23" now and she never complains about its viewing angles which arent the greatest, but it never bothers her.
I'd grab it partly for her and partly just so i could see one of these for myself.

Mine had no stuck pixels, but I really didn't like it. The monitor's contrast was terrible compared to my other monitors, and I ended up selling it to someone else. In particular, dark scenes did not look very good - especially compared to my Soyo (which is MVA). I'm not sure why so many people like this monitor - it's big and bright, but IMO the image looked a little washed out on mine, no matter how much I tried tweaking.

I just bought one off the microcenter site $249.00 plus tax and am going to Overland park to pick it up tonight. I bought a 24 inch lcd on craigslist last night for $100.00 but was not blown away by the size over my 22. I think this 28 incher will make a huge difference.

The last two I picked up both have dead pixels. One has two blue ones scattered around the screen, the other has one red one near the center. They are noticeable, but the screen is so big you kind of stop caring after a minute lol.

Wonder if I can open it up there and hook it up to one of their computers to check for dead pixels...

I think it'd be worth doing. The last two I setup were for an engineering running two of them side-by-side and he didn't care at all. He tried it out for a few minutes and then said he could hardly see them when he was looking for them, haha. They do show up on different colors, like a white or black background, so be sure to run through all of those monitor tests to make sure because they can blend in depending on the colors on the screen at the moment.

I'd definitely try one out in the store. Too much hassle to drive all the way back and do an exchange. Bring a laptop if you have one to make it easier...

Anomaly1964 - I am glad that my compusa closed other wise I might have to get 3 more ;-)

kmmatney- I came from the same soyo as you and couldn't be happier. To each there own they did require some tinkering with the settings and I don't watch movie mostly play FPS so I don't have to many super dark screens but when I do I haven't noticed any issue.

I checked it out at Microcenter and its perfect. I don't see any bad pixels and this thing is ungodly. I'm in monitor heaven!!

If the pixels are colored they arent dead, they are stuck. Massage em. Ive fixed at least 3 monitors that way.
