Did you eat all the fat? I usually make a 24oz, eat all the fat, and also stir-fry up some broccoli in olive oil and that will keep me full for a long time.

No need for carbs.

Carbz.

You need taters.

^ This. SO MUCH.

It's carb that makes you satisfied and full. I am on Keto (no carb) diet and eating all the meat and bacon to my heart's content. BUT I still don't feel quite right and still feel 'hungry'.

How long have you been strictly no carb? In my experience, it takes a couple of weeks before you no longer need carbs to feel full. I usually eat eggs and bacon for breakfast and then lunch is usually some kind of protein and veggies with some kind of fat, but no carbs and I don't get hungry for hours. And I usually go 5 hours between breakfast and lunch.

I have low blood sugar...if I don't have some sort of carbs, I turn into a slug :'( Totally hit the no-energy wall.

I am a fat people, and I love ribeye. Usually I make asparagus when I make steaks, and I eat like a pound of asparagus too. Then it smells when I pee. I hate that smell, but I like asparagus too much.

Also mashed taters are awesome with ribeye, and garlic bread too.

I like a good hearty soup with lots of onions and cheese in it to go along with the steak. Ohh, and just to make sure there are enough veggies, best to have some salad first.

Anyhow, after eating the salad, soup, ribeye, garlic bread, asparagus and potatos, then you are ready for the second helping of steak. Split a second steak with somebody, or, eat 2 steaks.

Then follow it all up with a quart of ice cream and a manly sized wedge of carrot cake.

Food is awesome.

What is the difference between Keto and Atkins?

Atkins is a marketed diet like weight watchers that is based off ketogenic diets which have been around for 100+ years. Macros are slightly different usually.

I've had all sorts of weird cravings immediately after eating large amounts of food. Like feeling more hungry AFTER eating a giant Chipotle burrito than before! What's with that?

Sometimes you just have to let the logical part of your brain override the HUNGRY HUNGRY animal part and force yourself to let your food settle for a while, and maybe have a glass of water. If you're really desperate, have a light snack like a salad or something with carbs like a slice of bread or a granola bar.

Carbs will be depleted from your body in a couple of hours. Any excess carbs you eat will be converted to fat, not stored as carbs.

incorrect. carbs are broken down into into smaller units of sugar (including glucose, fructose and galactose) in the stomach and small intestine. These small units of sugar are absorbed in the small intestine and then enter the bloodstream where they travel to the liver. Fructose and galactose are converted to glucose by the liver. Glucose is the carbohydrate transported by the bloodstream to the various tissues and organs, including the muscles and the brain, where it will be used as energy.
it can take anywhere from 2-3 days to 1-2 weeks depending on your activity level and diet to deplete your glycogen stores.

16 ounces, pre-cooked weight? that's nothing, especially if there's big pieces of gristle left.

if you're feeling hungry, try 2 1/2 pound patties and a pound of fries. or a steak, salad, appetizer, lots of potatoes and a slice of pie to finish.
