Yeah, thanks for that thread title. I get my shot tomorrow and *HATE* needles.
Last week, sliced open my thumb with a carpet knife. Blood running all over my hand. Grabbed a paper towel, washed off the blood, applied some pressure to the wound, wrapped some paper towel around the thumb, and duct taped it. Problem solved, 2 minutes after the slash, I was back to work.
Later last week: bad infection in my elbow. Needed a shot of antibiotic to help me. Nearly passed out from receiving a shot.
I *hate* needles!!

I got a flu shot a little over a week ago... I've never had a problem with needles/shots before, but for some reason, that one hurt like hell for almost a day afterward.

got flu shot from age 3-9=got flu all 6 years. havent gotten the flu since i stopped getting the shots a year after. kthx

No. But you'll probably want to get a malaria shot, and make sure your Pneumonia and Tetnus shots are up to date.

Only reason I got a Flu shot this year was a Pneumo doctor recommended it to me.

You get a flu shot you're almost guaranteed to get the flu. Don't get one and I'll bet you 100 bux you won't get the flu.
