I was reading "lamest gifts" from the company article on cbsnews a week ago and one of them was a guy getting an envelope with $100 in it. It wasn't a free $100 though, it was (without mentioning) just a $100 advance of the regular pay check. Some of his checks bounced as a result of not enough money being in the account and the guy was worse off for it. >.> Another one was a some a company compensating employees by insisting they come in on Christmas and giving them a gift card for a free soda OR a banana at one of the stalls. The gift cards didn't cover tax though so that was out of pocket.
Yeah, I'd say getting an amazon gift card for 25 bucks is pretty sweet. All things considered.
