I just got the Time Warner/Road Runner speed upgrade!!!

I get close to 700k directly connected to my DSL modem d/ling from fast sources. But with my Netgear router it gets up to only 600k'ish.

no, they have not done it in all markets yet. although a great deal of the time warner high speed folk have gotten the upgrade. well you just have to turn off your modem and test the speed yourself

i have yet to check my ISP email account since i rarely even use it ha

just reset the router and nothing different, ah well... hopefully soon enough.

whenever i had rr in atx i was getting anywhere from 10-15megabits down and like 2-4 up...it was like that for the entire 6 months i had the service...i think somehow my modem was uncapped...i never said anything and they didnt either

I didn't know about this and just cycled and tested and I'm now getting average of 4.9 megabits down. I had been getting around 3. Upload stayed the same for me pretty much (just a little bit higher) but I don't really care about that.
