if they are standard 1oz shots, thats only like 300ml ....
or about 1/6 of a big bottle (1.75L)

I wouldn't consider that to be a lot, sure it's way too much to drive, however, it's not by any means an impressive amount.

10 shots of everclear would mess me up some (as that's a little more than 24 shots worth of 80 proof liquor, or about as much as a case of good strong beer) but if it is just your standard fare 80 proof drinks ... it's no big deal

A shot is 1.5 ounces. And for a *normal* person 10 shots of any alcohol over 25% is really going to put the hurt on you if you did them over a short period of time.

For a typical ~125pound ATOTer, especially one new to drinking, 10 shots is probably like a bomb going off... I routinely post with more than that in me and manage to avoid posts like this though.

I agree, I've been really trashed before and I made very few typos if any while talking on aim. It's harder to type, but I always go back and fix any errors before sending anything. I think he's trying a little too hard...if I was that messed up to where I couldnt even form a coherent sentence, I'd be in bed, not on the computer.

it was 10 full shots of 80 proof, and I am sober now, but for a little bit, I was definitely messed up. And...10 shots of everclear? whoever said that should fcking end their life...10 shots of everclear..are you kidding me? :roll:

I think this thread has established two things quite clearly. One, a lot of you guys drink waaaay too much. 10 shots is a little bit? When you start getting that kind of attitude about it, you're way too "good" at drinking. It shouldn't make you sick as a dog drunk or anything, but it should be very obvious you've been drinking. Two, ATOT has a lot of people willing to jump all over someone for something little and stupid. This guy makes a drunk post (or fakes one, whatever) and all of a sudden he's an alcoholic n00b who can't get any action and is a giant pussy. Damn you guys must be a blast at parties
