I just asked myself the same thing... how sad.
Seriously... wow. Wozniak invented the personal computer. Jobs just sold it.

Same.

Besides Wozniak > Jobs.

agreed. everything good about apple i put to wozniak. now that's probably an over-generalization but it pretty much sums up my feelings.

even if you hate apple, it was instrumental in the beginnings of personal computing!

Nope, but it was worth the $4.50 i paid for parking.

He actually created nearly everything himself, Jobs, while a nerd too, simply had more business ambition.

I believe most of the responses were sarcastic. But, I could be wrong.

Why would a Windows user,
know anything about an apple person? I did not recall the name.

Do you know who Thomas Watson was?

He worked for Mr Bell.

Who is Mr Bell?? You ask....??

Hmm I thought the Mr Bell, was the Grandfather to the PC, as Bell Labs invented
the Transistor.

Microelectronics research at Bell Labs began the same day the semiconductor field began, when three Bell Labs researchers invented the transistor, and our contributions have never slacked since.

It's not enough that there are dumb people in this thread, but they are actually defending their ignorance!

wow, the ignorance on this board is amazing. you don't have to be a "fanboy" to know who Woz is. did you people think PC's were cool 15 years ago? No, because they were for boring business people and everyone cool had a Commodore, Atari, or Apple. But I guess 15 years ago 95% of ATOT wasn't born yet.

Woz was cool. I honestly didn't know anything about him or very little about Steve Jobs before I switched to using an ibook. That being said, from listening to him on one of the OScon speeches on IT Conversations and TWIT, he's really cool and down to earth guy, and we won't have apple computer if he was there alone doing his thing without steve jobs.

well to be fair he was half the brains. steve had to basically force him to leave hp? or whatever engineering job he had to start apple. so u need both of them, without steve theres no first apple and woz stays in a cubicle the rest of his life. without woz steve is just a big mouth

My dad was a security guard for apple back when they were first getting huge. Wozniak used to hire him for $500 to do security at his parties at his house. My dad said he had one huge room with what seemed like every arcade game possible.

You are right. They don't give keynotes at graduations. The Crazy Chicken Life must be a) mistaken or b) lying
