I just purchased Office 2007 Ultimate Edition (Retail) for £17.31 where as it usually costs £469.99

This is for home use.

I've never used office 2007 before but thought for the price I might as well give it a try.

It?ll be quite a while before Office 2007 is rolled out across the corporate network, so this gives me a little time to play around with it beforehand. From what I?ve seen there?s a big difference in the UI.

The other day I received an email about the Corporate Enterprise Agreement with Microsoft and the company I work for. The email made us aware of the available licenses for Office and the limited licenses available for Project and Visio through this HUP program.

I didn?t realise it would be this cheap.

The use of both visio and project are integral to my work, so I went ahead and purchased the lot.

I just want to get to grips with it before it becomes the mainstream platform throughout my business unit. I have no idea when that?ll be but at least I?ll be prepared.

ATM I use the 2003 products which are installed on both my company laptops.

I?ve heard there are a few compatibility issues between the two versions (2003 and 2007), so perhaps the migration will be delayed for some time (I hope).

I know. The same applies if the Corporate Enterprise Agreement is terminated, too.

I don?t have an MSDN account, nor do I need one. I already have two copies of Visio and Project supplied by my company - albeit not the 2007 editions.
