I've actually bothered in the past to estimate the volume of all the humans on earth if you were to do just that. It's not nearly as much as most people would think.

Maybe not. It seems to me you would have to design it as more of a swimming pool than a warehouse, given the assumed density of a blended human.
Or what about putting them in barrels/containers or freezing them?
It would need to be more of a swimming pool though, you would be correct.
