I bet you could put the entire worlds population in a decent sized warehouse if you send everyone through a blender first.

6,602,224,175 ppl at an average of 2.399 cubic feet per is 1.58E10....that would be a big warehouse.

height helps!

I do find it funny that you could divide alaska up and get two states bigger than texas with a state bigger than new mexico (the fifth biggest state) left over.

you do the math.

My math shows the entire population of the world could fit into the area of the entire US (including Alaska and Hawaii) with 1 full acre per family of 2.7

you do the math.

Yup. And then you have to feed them... and you need other natural resources as well.

Reminds me of when my friends were discussing world population and someone asked what global population density was. Another answered 6.5 billion per planet.

I think ElFenix made it clear enough that he wasn't serious.

If the warehouse were 30 feet tall it would have to be 4.3 square miles. That's a lot of blended human!

It would be approximately 121.8 Vehicle Assembly Buildings.

I love that guy in that thread. He's the idiot that never had a mouthpiece until the internet came along and now we're supposed to buy into his "what I pull out of my ass is fact" and that science is "the cult of the techno-destructo world of mind droids" drivel. Sounds like someone who should spend more time reading than hammering away at his self-important keyboard. What a waste of everyone's time.

Unfortunately that will be reproduced fairly quickly, and was just a drop in the bucket when you look at the Earth's population. Could get about 30x more disasters like that, and then it would make a meaningful dent in the global population (7x would be acceptable as well).

Does that warehouse have any support structure inside? If so you would need a bigger warehouse

Maybe not. It seems to me you would have to design it as more of a swimming pool than a warehouse, given the assumed density of a blended human.

Don't you think it'd be better just to have less kids instead of having some cataclysm where half of the world population dies a slow death?
