I just washed a brand new Calvin Klein shirt and it went from Extra Large to Small (it just fits my GF now)

Actually, I called my mom and she says it still woulda shrunk in cold water too. Damn, from now on, cold water only + hang dry.

My mother decided that it was getting a little cold for the dog in the winter, so she took an old sweater and washed it in hot water then put it through the dryer. Ended up fitting the chihuahua-size mutt perfectly.

That's part of the reason why I've stuck to Banana Republic and Gap... The clothes fit me the best, and I have never had a problem with shrinking. It seems everywhere else I go J. Crew, Express and so on the clothes always shrink and due to my size it's a pain to buy clothes that you will hope will fit once they've been washed. (6' 3" 165 pounds)

LOL...good job. I know that a lot of guys here claim they only wear t-shirts and jeans every day, but you should still know how to properly wash a material.

And any person who's worked at the store for more than a few weeks will notice that it looks washed...just suck it up and consider it a learing experience

(BTW, was it one of the new CK Steel shirts? I've been meaning to try his new line)

no... it's not a "steel" shirt. F*ck CK, i've never had clothes shrink!

(Wondering whether to return a CK shirt. Worried it will shrink.)

I'm the worst with any of that type of stuff and even I know wash new stuff cold and hang dry. Don't even dry on low, hang dry.
