God you people wouldn't know a good movie if it kicked you in the @ss. The movie used the aliens as a catalysit to protray the true story...faith. You do know that movies before big budgets had this thing called dialoge, why don't you listen to the words and read between the lines.

Moreover, Sixth Sense was about accepting death as a part of life. Unbreakable is about family relationships...if you're not happy with yourself, then how can you be happy with your loved ones.

Why dont you go rent one of Arnolds new movies or just play with fire crackers, because thinking isnt your strong suit.

I think we get the "faith" thing since it was pretty well beat to death, ok? The problem is the ridulous framework, plot holes, and stupid crap that they delivered it with.

the plot, that's what causes the reaction. It is simply horrible.

I was going to suggest that you take a look at your list of movies again and honestly tell everyone that they are all realistic and logical. Instead, I'll just let it go...but suggest that you be a little more tolerant of others with a differing opinion on what's a good movie and what isn't. I like both of these movies but truly they are the same movie. The part where he fired the shotgun by mistake and left a groove through his hair (ALA: old roadrunner cartoons) now that was believable.

You guys can nitpick all you want, but none of these movies had the gaping, huge plot holes that Signs had.

Let's face it, the premise of almost any movie is a bit out there, but once you accept the premise (having druggies that can tell when there'll be a murder for example) everything else has to make sense.

Now, I don't have a problem with the premise of Signs (plenty of other movies deal with aliens), but what followed was horrible beyond description. Having a nice message isn't enough, you need a solid movie to deliver that message. Mr. M. Night failed miserably in the movie part.
