They are more likely to be found on an "oldies" station rather than a "classic rock" station. God it is amazing how consultants and programming formulas have stifiled (sp?) any hint of originality on radio in the present.

Originality is risky from a marketing perspective. If something is profitable today, why change it? Look how many of those "parody" movies have come out: Scary Movie, Epic Movie, Not Another Teen Movie, Shitty Movie, and so on.
Sadly, those of us who don't like a constant stream of the same old crap, splashing us in the face constantly, aren't a sufficiently profitable niche market to warrant taking the risk and investing in originality.

2. That is true. However, all sin condemns you to hell. The problem becomes when you aren't trying to rid yourself of sin. If I am a Christian but I constantly cheat on my wife is Christ really dwelling in my heart? I know the law which says not to adulter and I know Jesus said "those who love Me will obey My commands" so am I really following Christ?

So the issue is not the sin but the condition of the heart. Another example would be murder. If I say I am a Christian but I constantly kill people am I following Christ? Well all sin is the same so surely I am fine, right? I doubt it.

Here's my opinion: it's not my place to judge. I have gay friends, I love them just as much as anyone else and I don't treat them any different. I don't judge them even though I know what they are doing is wrong (Bible says so, not me). Hence I will open my arms to anyone. The condition of their heart is not my issue, but theirs. If they are following hard after Christ then the Holy Spirit will convict them, that's not my job.

3. "thrown into a lake of fire"? Everlasting separation from God? What do you think hell is? It's not the movies, it's the absence of the bliss of God. It's eternal death. It's having to face the consequences for a life of sin.
