I know how to run a game in a window

A lot of people I think plays games in a window mode, some games allow this but other not.
I was searching in google for hours and at list I found a great app named "DXwnd".
Who need such app just search in google for "dxwnd".

It doesn't work with all titles (because it hooks the API, some games will recognize it as a hack).

some games lock the mouse to the game regardless..sux. i know UT2004 did that

If it didn't lock your mouse to the window in an FPS game...

That only makes sense in RTS games to unlock the mouse.

Just change your shortcut to "C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Frozen Throne.exe" -window

I don't think I ever found a way to get Starcraft to run in windowed mode in Windows. I spent ages wrasslin' with DxWnd and never got it working correctly.

You realize you lose FPS in windowed mode right? Just in case it matters to you, may not.

Running Wine under linux allows Starcraft to run in a window.

Installing an new OS to run SC in a window is impractical...but it works.

There's a way, I tried it under winxp, I forget the specifics. The window was tiny though, and not resizable, I ended up saying F it.
