I think "Special Olympics" requires mental disability. Paralympics is just about physical disability.

With my FUBAR'D knees and back, I could probably qualify for the paralympics...IF I had any sort of athletic talents...if only...

I never knew this existed. Honestly doesn’t seem funny at all to me. Seems really cool these guys can compete at an Olympic level despite their handicaps. The amount of upper body strength it takes to play a whole game with just your arms must be immense. Not to mention a lot of them are veterans who were permanently disabled serving this country. I’ve got a lot of respect for them. Very cool.

I thought the sport looked pretty cool in the video. My son's best friend lost a leg at age 15 and I've come to appreciate how freaking hard it is to get back to "normal" in a situation like that.
