I like my doctor...

Took today off to go to the Doc, assuming that I've had strep the last three days. Something I seem to get regularly (usually about twice a year). Doc did the usual jab the throat with the swabs thing, gave the script for antibiotics to prevent the secondary infection...

And then I asked if there was anything I could do about the swelling or the feeling of swallowing crushed glass, he suggested pain meds. I was expecting to hear something like "tylenol" or "asperin" come from his lips. Instead he was busy writing a second script as he was saying "darvicet" to me.

Not quite what I had in mind for a little sore throat, but, hey... I'll try anything twice!

I wonder how many refills I'm going to have on it...

All the nurses/receptionists are tall, blonde/brunette, gorgeous twenty-somethings.

Every time I go to the Doc. they take one look at me and say "Pain Pills, SURE..."

I could even be SUPER clean cut going in and they would STILL think I wanna party with them.

Something about my Aura I guess...

I've had total strangers walk up to me on the street and ask if I could get them drugs.

The downside is it makes things umm...interesting when you go in for a physical. And of course, my doctor is a cute-looking short-haired brunette in her mid 30s, early 40s, which I guess is better than having a male doctor see you with chub.
