It is hard sometimes to figure out whether what you wrote is meant to be taken literally, or what you wrote has another message behind it, which would be opposite to what the face value of your statement would be. This is the case here....its confusing
I believe that what is happening with the intentional separating of parents and children at the border as ordered by Sessions and thereforeTrump is an intentional escalation of law inforcement meant to discourage border crossing by means of cruelty. I believe it is a violation of human rights and that any and all participating in it should be tried as criminals. I believe that this constitutes grounds for impeachment and those not calling for it at this point are abeting criminal behavior by the President. I hope this is no longer confusing. If I had the power to do so I would remove Trump from office. I do not have that power but congress and the senate do. I wrote the three who represent me to do so immediately. If every other American did the same l believe he would be gone in a matter of days. You might enjoy a Kurosawa film titled Red Beard.

I wrote my two Senators and House member to have them call for Trump to be impeached for human rights violations against children, now. It seems to me to not do so is complicity.
It seems to me that President Pence and President Ryan and President Hatch and President Tillerson and President Mnuchin and President Mattis and President Sessions won't be any better for human rights.

In 2014 there was a deluge of unaccompanied minors at the border, kids big enough to get there on their own. That's entirely different from separating young children from their parents.

You already knew that but chose to obfuscate anyway.

A lot of those kids were 12 and under. That's how desperate their parents were/are to get them out of their own countries. They think the kids have a better chance traveling a couple of thousands of miles on their own and then hoping that they *might* get into the US.

It's actually happening all over the world where families are sending their kids off in the hope that they might end up having a better life in another country thousands of miles away. And thousands of them are 'disappearing'. Murdered, raped sold into slavery (both economic and sexual). It's a terrible statement on modern human society. It's estimated that half the (10s of million) refugees in the world today are under 18.

Read it and weep

http://tpcjournal.nbcc.org/unaccomp...heir-journey-and-implications-for-counselors/

"Fernando began his journey at 10 years old and recounted the injuries he received from the train and walking nonstop for 2 days as he approached the Mexico–United States boarder: “My arms were bandaged from having been hurt on the train. . . . I saw the body of a man floating in the river. I wondered if it was the body of my father.” Fernando’s accounts illustrate the nature of the physical and emotional pain the participants experienced. Not only was Fernando physically hurt on his journey, but he also carried the emotional or psychological wounds of witnessing death at a young age. In his book, Fernando also wrote about seeing a man’s body being dismembered after accidentally falling from the train."

...

"All the participants were exposed to and witnessed trauma on their journey to the United States. They were exposed to physical and sexual assaults and death. For instance, riding above the train was very dangerous. Participants provided accounts of people being sucked under the train as they tried to jump on. Enrique wrote about seeing a girl die trying to get on the train. Federico stated that the following events impacted him the most on his journey: “(I) witnessed a person being shot to death, the raping of women while family members were forced to witness this, witnessing a person being cut to pieces by the train, and seeing pieces of human bodies alongside the railroads.” These were not isolated events; all the participants reported at least one such traumatic situation."

Or C: we want to change immigration laws to reflect the changing needs of our country both labor and population wise, while also protecting the dignity and well being of the people attempting to enter this country all while keeping our minds open to the fact that a lot of these people are fleeing situations that US interventionist foreign policy has directly contributed to.

Maybe we are at the point where we need to start issuing numbered id cards and tax id numbers to illegal immigrants currently in the country and to new immigrants who are coming through the border checkpoints. It would be difficult but at least it's a start.

Let's get down to brass tacks then. Should aliens who would otherwise face deportation be simply let go if they come accompanied by children? If not, do you think we should not restrain those facing deportation hearings? If not, should we allow their minor children to be co-mingled with them and other potentially dangerous adults? Or is your policy that we should pay for Hilton Hotel type accommodations for illegal aliens and their families while awaiting deportation, complete no doubt with indoor pool and room service?

This is why it's hard to even take your type seriously, if you would just be honest about things and say you want open borders and to not enforce our immigration laws it would greatly simplify the conversation.
You're the richest fucking country in the world and you cant do better than holding children in cages?

I told you you wouldn't like it. I do believe we should be progressing towards a one world government and stop pretending that people are different depending upon which patch of soil they entered the world.
People aren't different, but cultures are. It's extremely rare that two different cultures can occupy the same area.

Since people are the same, and people are not in contact and communicating with each other and doing business together all over the world, there is a worldwide culture evolving that includes cultural tolerance at its root. It’s what you call liberal. No surprise really, you’re not so aware of it.

This is the most reasonable "hardline" stance to have really. If they're going to find ways to get here and hide from the system why don't we change the system to be able to identify them? This subject and the war on drugs are two subjects that I think most conservatives tend to bury their heads in the sand over. Respecting the law is a great concept, but when the law proves to be completely ineffective and unenforceable it's moronic to just continue harping on about people breaking it.

The reality is that most politicians don't want to truly solve this problem because if they fix it they lose a bullet point on their platform while campaigning. With the wealth of new technology available it's entirely possible to identify and track the activity of immigrants in this country, the problem is getting them to declare themselves without fear of deportation.

And the fact that illegal immigration and the status quo regarding it benefits both parties.

So much on the left is based on misinformation, outright lies, myths, distortions, things taken out of context, and willingly hypocrisy.

There's plenty to bash Trump over, he's easily the worst president ever. But the media and dipshit leftists simply didn't GIVE A SHIT about any of this kind of stuff when it was Obama. And they don't really give a shit now... even as they blame Trump for Obama era stuff!

I want to see those same cries for trails for the Obama admin. Go ahead hypocrites! Lets hear 'em.

This is exactly true.

The leftist media tried pushing a fake story claiming the Trump admin was putting kids in cages with a picture from 2014. When the truth came out *poof*, suddenly all the (selective) outrage was gone, and so was the story. People working for CNN, NY Times etc tweeting, pushing the story. When facts came out, and it was under the Obama admin, the excuse of being with family and distracted was to blame. Others didn't even bother to correct the errors they made. Doesn't matter, the damage was done. Fake news made to make Trump look bad. He doesn't need help to look bad. Using fake news just shows that accuracy does not matter whatsoever. Hundreds of thousands of tweets, or even more, pushing this story. How many do you think actually saw the correction? A drop in the bucked compared. They're hypocrites, and don't really care about this. If they did, there would have been the same level of outrage in 2014, when the picture actually took place, as it did last week. The editor in chief of NYT fell for this, pushed it, then blamed his family. Pathetic.

But then the leftist media is pushing Trump running a child trafficking ring, and Melania being out of the public spot light after her surgery due to her having bruises from being beaten by Trump. They really have no bounds at what they will do to make him look bad. When he easily does it himself. What it does pushing these fake ass stories, making shit up, and being hypocrites, is give his far right base ammunition to rally. Just report the damn news evenly, and let the cards fall where they may.

So, where are the pics showing us the truth about how children separated from their parents at the border are being housed?

Not big kids & teens but the pre-schoolers & the toddlers. It would be easy to clear up this misunderstanding, wouldn't it?

Oh, and what media outlets are pushing the child sex ring stuff & the Melania being beaten stuff? Surely you can link us up.

Like right here in the heart of the great melting pot, the San Francisco bay area, an extremely diverse and liberal mecca. In just a couple of hours I can visit the white area, the black area, the Asian area, the Mexican area, the Chinese area, and probably a few others I've forgotten (if I ever find the Irish area I'll be drunk for a month).
