I got a Circular Saw and a Dremel for Christmas . For my Birthday last year, I got a Drill and a 0 degree sleeping bag. (Both instances I received other items as well)
A couple things I learned too:
-Ladies, men generally think during 2 times only (Toilet and Shower)
-As a guy, I grill, I don't generally cook
-On that note, Steak = Every man's favorite entree!
-Every Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday during the latter half of the year, its Football time at some point during the day
-On that note, "It's only a game" is quite possible the worst phrase in the English language!!
-Firing a gun for the first time is pretty much a rite of passage
-War movies never EVER get old
-Not sure if women have figure this out (If they have - not sure why they persist in doing it), but we don't catch on to hints or signals (most of the time).
-In bathrooms, I am pretty sure there is an unwritten rule that you generally don't talk much. I don't think I ever do more than a head nod and a "Hey hows it going".
-Yes, we can, in fact, fix everything. No, instructions are not necessary. Yes, the extra parts mean we did it right
-Shopping is not in our vocabulary
(I learned other stuff too, but that was all that was on my mind at the time )
-Sometimes just nodding your head and saying "Yes[, dear (If applicable)]" is the way to go!
Just got to thinking about all of this after watching most of Band of Brothers on BluRay for the 2 time in 3 days and decided to post about it
