Number four in my on-again-off-again, long-running series of posts about Craig's List:
1) I love Craig's List
2) I love Craig's List
3) I love Craig's List
I listed an iPad the other day for $190 (it is not important to the story which model). I got an inquiry soon thereafter. We had a little back and forth via text on some of the details and day of time of meeting.
Then there was a lull in communications for about a day (which was fine, because it was Saturday and I was busy.
Then the guys texts me again and and asks for the details again as he was getting his multiple iPad deals confused (I've been there).
So I remind him of the details, including the price, $190. He then asks if I could go any lower.
I ask, "How low?"
He says, "$130."
I respond, Wait, what item are we talking about?!?
I have not heard back again.
That being said, I have had great success on CL. You just need to watch out for the scams and be prepared to take the bad (and ugly) with the good.
