Hi there. I saw your ad on CL and thought I'd drop you
a line. Okay, stats first so you keep reading. I am a
34 SWF, 5' 5", 120 lbs, bl/bl. I am attractive
(usually turn heads) but not a perfect supermodel. Pic

judge. I am well educated, well traveled, ambitious,

Your post is refreshing. You sound...normal. And I
do mean that in a GOOD way-- have you actually read
some of the M4F posts that other guys put up? My
coworkers and I troll thru those when we're really
bored and need a laugh. Oh, there have been some
doozies.
Really, you sound very down to earth and low key, but
most importantly you sound real, genuine. I like
that. I am also very low key. I can't stand drama.
I have gotten to the point where I have actually cut
people out of my life b/c of their incessant need for
drama and for me to be involved in it. I am
comfortable in my own skin. Most of the time.
I really like what you said about baggage; I think
it's unrealistic to expect or ask that someone not
have baggage. So of course, I have mine. I like to
keep my baggage minimal: carry-on size, if you will.
I choose to keep it stored in the overhead
compartment. but as any traveler knows, shift
happens.
Anyway, I'm Amanda. I live in Fremont and I work in
SJ. Graduated from CSUHayward a year ago majoring in
sociology and poli sci. I am sadly not using either
of them at the moment, but doing my absolute damnedest
to change that. I am 25, although my friends and
coworkers would probably tell you (or anyone else)
that it's easy to forget that I am 25. Please don't
worry, I don't act like I am 80.
I have a very good sense of humor: it takes a lot to
offend me, and I laugh at just about anything (and
yes, that has gotten me into trouble). My guy friends
say that I am unlike a lot of women, in that I can be
a smartass to someone and can take it when that person
is a smartass right back; i'm usually laughing right
along w/ everyone else. I don't take myself too
seriously.
OK. I'm not trying to turn this into a novel. I
would really like to hear back from you, as you
definitely sound like someone I would like to get to
know more about: what you do (work, hobbies,
interests), if you're from here, if you like your
yogurt w/ fruit on the bottom or mixed in, why you
prefer cats over dogs (that's what it seemed like in
your post, and most guys usually prefer dogs), if you
prefer the top bunk or bottom, etc.
And of course, a pic is attached, since you were brave
enough to post yours in the post.

Well the thing I've noticed is that girls like to hype up the career and travel thing- a LOT. I just try to see past it, real or otherwise.

Actually I have a rule- it's either coffee, on me, or anything else but it's dutch. Weeds out the dinner whores, and women have had no issue with it. I used to pay to be a gentleman, and have no issue doing so for someone I'm serious with, but it's a good way to keep things honest.
