Topic Summary: Obama, Wall Street hates your plan

Fuck Wall Street and their golden parachutes. They're the crooks who dug us into this mess. They're the ones who should pay for the damage they've done.

Those who did "everything right" were screwed by the EX Traitor In Chief and his criminal gang who did everything wrong. They squandered trillions on a war of lies and cost us trillions more when they abandoned all oversight and regulation of their wealthy Wall Street robber baron contributors.

Yes, because Bush clearly caused the housing bubble and forced idiots at gunpoint to get mortgages they could not afford.

Damn him!

Damn him to Hell!!!

Excuse me. That's "Darn him to heck."

History shows government interventions and Keynesian economics do nothing but prolong the pain while compounding long-term public debt.

what you forget to mention is Keynasian economic require government to save up in good times, which we never do. It was NEVER Keynasian economics that got us into recession or depression.

Government shouldn't save money, if it collects to much it should pay the citizens back the extra they took. What they should do is pay down debts during booms. We've just been building debt since the Great Depression. Sometimes faster than others, no thanks to the fiscally retarded Republicans.

I have 0 sympathy for someone too stupid to do grade school math, those dumb enough to buy into the housing bubble are cut from the same cloth as the idiots who buy stuff off infomercials.

Fuck them, if they're that stupid, they need to learn a lesson, and life teaches some hard ass lessons.

Viva the revolution!!!

What about the banks who sold them the mortgages and KNEW what they were doing?

they were directed by the government to do so.

Good point, one I'm sure went by every pro-Santelli person because they simply don't understand much.

Interesting observation, but if we follow that line of thinking then it means that everyone with a mortgage has an ARM. If it's not healthy for everyone to have a contractual ARM, why is it healthy to have an implicit ARM in the form of bailouts?

With the interest rates at least anyone has the ability to take advantage of it... Thus it is a fair ride instead of a free ride.

I would gladly see my loser neighbor get a bail out then wallstreet fucks. Their trade is racket. What this clown captured was a populous view if you like to shit on your neighbor. Which most Americans do.

Good question in asking where was this guy's mouth during Bush? This beautiful being found something to get angry all of sudden. Somebody tell this fool to stfu.

Here's the deal. Yeah you hate your neighbor. But what Obama is trying to get across to people is that you have an interest in your neighbors life. I know, I know! Its hard to understand!!! Decade of trying to fuck your neighbor over leaves some bad habits.

You shall not covet your neighbor?s house; you shall not covet your neighbor?s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor?s."

Nobody should be getting bailouts (even the responsible people, i.e. people who bought what they could afford).

Wall Street needs to STFU.

This. IMO.

Ah yes, the "a person is no longer responsible for their personal responsibility" crew.

how about jailing the brokers whom approved the loans to these "irresponsible" crew.
justice is about accountability up the entire food chain.
strip the assets of the profiteers....the fix aint so hard.

as opposed to those of you who do not understand the difference between VOLUNTARILY going out and getting a mortgage, and using the GOVERNMENT to subsidize mortgages by force of gunpoint on TAXPAYERS.

Well what were you doing otherwise? Renting I assume, and most likely renting to someone paying a mortgage on the property. Guess what your rent was doing.

Not to mention, are you really trying to make the argument that such a decision is completely voluntary? Should people just not buy places to live?
