I made a mistake and need a new 1366 MB

I need some immediate advice on purchasing a new mother board.

I ordered my parts for my build and when the parts got here, I realized that I mistakenly ordered the wrong CPU. I can no longer return it and “I think” my best option is to return the motherboard and buy a 1366 socket mother board. Here is my setup, what do you recommend or what motherboard might you recommend.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3 (Should return?)
Video Card: VGA EVGA 9800GTX+ 512-P3-N871-AR
PS: Antec 500w
CPU: i7- 930 (Mistake)
RAM: G.Skill 4gbX2 F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL

I want to make sure that the new mother board is not a more than $250. I also need it to work with the ram that I currently have and I don't need to run more than one video card. So can someone recommend a better idea or a good 1366 motherboard? THANK YOU!

the 930 is a great cpu so i'd keep it and get a new mobo

I would take back your ram and get a triple channel set instead if you are using an i7.

If you worry about cost, depending on what you paid for the 930, you may be able to resell it and pick up the right cpu for that board.

If cost is not that big a deal, then yeah..return the mobo and get a s1366 board. As for RAM...again, it comes down to cost, you can run dual channel no problem on s1366 board, but if cost is not a big deal...then return it as well and go tripple channel like Grim suggested.

Really comes down to how much you want to spend total.

Yeah you would need to replace your ram if you want to maintain triple-channel on the x58 chipset motherboard or just get 2 more kits for 12GB of fun!
