I left the Air Force JAG Corps at the end of 2004, after six years on active duty. Since then, I have been working as an associate attorney at a small but very successful litigation firm in Minneapolis. We have had very good success on some high-visibility cases, including representing the property owners in the Minnesota Twins ballpark condemnation, the plaintiff in this police civil rights case -

Anyway, after working at my firm for about 4 1/2 years, they yesterday told me I am being named a partner. I know this is probably insignificant to non-lawyers, but it's really a nice recognition of my work and a major step in career progress. Woohoo!
