Hot air balloon ride Saturday morning. Very much nervous about dying. The whole falling to my death thing really doesn't sit well with me.
Anyone done this before? What should I expect?

Well, because I am MacGuyver-esque in many ways, I'd quickly take out my knife and cut each rope, tying each of the ropes around my arms. I would then float to safety using the giant balloon like a parachute and become a legend.
Oh, and don't touch the ropes. We had a guy on our ride feel like he had to start touching things. The pilot yelled at him, saying if he pulled that rope that we're going down fast. He had his hand on the main vent line. If you pull it hard enough, the whole top of the balloon opens up (for deflating once you're on the ground).
