I wasn't going to mention it, but my wife's former boss and his wife did get in a balloon accident years ago.

His wife actually screwed her back up and had to quit her Physical Therapist job and go on disability.

I wasn't going to rain on your parade, but at least they canceled that one when things looked bad.

I had even forgotten about it, she mentioned it the other day when I said something about the thread.

There are risks involved in anything of course.

When I think "balloon ride", I always think I am getting diarrhea somewhere at 5000ft. DIARR-FRICKING-RHEA on a balloon? Wouldn't this be fun?

Well, relatively sudden. First the feet stop, then the ass, then all the organs in their chest keep moving until they run into each other and stop, and then the head stops. It's all a bit of a process, but at the end of it the person can be said to have "stopped".

I was very nervous about my hot air balloon ride, as I don't like heights. It was in Napa Valley early in the morning. We met at a local hotel before dawn for our pre-flight breakfast. I downed a lot of mimosas!

Long story short, it was fantastic. It was beautiful. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Just don't look over the side of the basket when you get to flight altitude! I made that mistake peering over the side at 2200 feet. Oh, and wear a hat, the heater gets HOT.

I did it once. Would do again. Im 6 ft tall and my head roasted from the heater. bring a hat or something, or be short lol
