I need to change my ATI Rage Fury Pro VIVO

i am not satisfied with it

i play Counter Strike a lot, whenever i saw the smoke from the smoke bomb, my screen will become extremely slow.

can anyone recommend me a new one and better one in price/performance

If you have the money, Asus V7700, if you don't Asus V7100, Asus V6800 or an ATI Radeon 32megs.

Your video card is most likely the bottleneck.

I would say go with a Geforce2 gts if you play cs a lot.. One recommendation and that is stay away from the ati radeon 32mb DDR.. Gameplay is just way too dark and there is no way to adjust the brightness settings.

Then get a Geforce 256 or a Geforce 2 MX. I think the MX is cheaper and performs better in games.

if i upgrade to MX how much scores do you think it will increase

You'll get more FPS if you use a GF2MX.

I get a score of 4120 using my MX on a CUSL2-C with a P3 866 @ 1024*768.

I thought fog doesn't work on ATI cards? But go for a Radeon 32 MB DDR, you'll like it.

Stay away from the Radeon 32mb cards, there just no good. Go with a geforce2 MX. Also, i dont think that a score of 6000+ is atainable using a gf2 mx, at least at the stock speed.

Why this fascination with 3D marks.
Its not like 3D Mark is very representative of real gaming performance.
