I heard today on the radio your tastes in music get fixed by age 30. I haven't noticed that with myself. I'm always looking for something new, but I expect a certain standard of musicianship. IOW, hiphop can fuck itself with a piece of hot rebar,

I believe that as everyone I know is stuck in the genre they grew up in and refuse to change.

lol the Toto song threw me off because I was trying to sing it like in it's original form but as a metal cover that's not possible I dunno what they played after the Toto cover, but it was wicked!

Yea, Ghost BC was great right out the gate and continue to put out great albums. Something about the textures of the sound just gives them a little extra oomph. Somehow they appeal to the underground and the mainstream.

Yep, I guess I shouldn't be that surprised ... my girlfriend who is very far from a metal head gladly went to the show with me and loves even their older albums, along with two of my friends who belong more to the Gojira, Obscura, Necrophagist camp. Ghost manages to appeal to all of them.
