I am sorry if there is a thread for this already but every time i search the forums the search times out.
I was trying to install windows on my HD, I deleted the existing partition and tried installing that way but during the install process something went wrong and the computer rebooted, once it did it could no longer see the HD to install windows even though it shows up in the bios. I ran the seagate seatools boot cd and the drive is fine I just need to create a partition... BUT HOW!? I can't seem to find a freeware program that from off a boot cd that i can boot to and create a new partiton.
Anyone know what program to use?! I use to use partition magic back in the day but it seems that they stopped making it and I no longer have a floppy drive (or floppies) to create the boot disks, and I don't have another computer with windows to do it from windows. I MUST create a bootable cd.... any help is appreciated.
