I've measured the voltage on the fan only connectors on a True380 and a True480. The nominal voltage is a little over 5V and it raises sort of linearly up to a max of about 10.5V. Things have to get pretty toasty (over 40°C in the case) before the fans start speeding up though. They almost always run at 5V.

That is really good to know. Makes me wonder though if the fan connectors could possibly cause one of the 120mm to stall and burn out due to the initial voltage not being enough to overcome the friction of a fan starting. Do you know if the voltage spikes at the beginning of powerup?

I have been running (2) Panaflo 120mm fans off of the FAN ONLY plug for over 9 months without any problems. Both fans are working perfectly.

Looks like i am aiming for the Chenbro w/ 2 120mm and 1 80mm hard drive fan. Use the Antec trupower 430 and the fans run quiet and the PS is quiet. Line the case with dampening material and it should be great for the bedroom. BUT the airflow should be really good to for a nice xp 2100+ overclock.

Where can I get a Chenbro 610? I can't find it on pricewatch, dealtime, newegg, directron...
