I need a Time Warner Agent

When I was at school in Austin, Texas I got my time warner service from an agent that came into your place and took your order which became much cheaper with some free premium packages. Now that I'm all graduated I'm back in Houston foaming at the mouth for cable so I was wondering if anyone knew of one in Houston or if anyone knew how to find one. THanks alot

Are they really that bad? I'm in an area serviced by Adelphia which just got bought out by Time Warner. They're switching over on August 1st. I hope it doesn't screw up my HDTV, DVR, Premium high speed internet, or local channels (Comcast Sports Network - baseball).

My buddy switched to TW from satellite a few months ago. The service has been so bad and the outaged so often that he finally had enough and switched back to satellite yesterday. He had the VOIP through TW also and that was simply abysmal as it h ardly ever worked.

That's weird Time Warner has always been great for us. No downtime at all and the service is always good. Must be because I live in NY (I don't know what that has to do with anything)

I my 'net was going up and down all last week, TW insisted that is was a bad signal. How can a signal just go bad after 7 months with no change, no bad weather... nothing?

I don't buy it. Mostly because it's not the first time it has happened, and in the other two times it happened (at another house, though) the solution was that the cable modem was crapping out. I mentioned this to the tech that came and he insisted that this had nothing to do with it.

... the worst part is that I made an appointment for them to come between 3:30 and 6:30... the guy showed up at NOON. Which I wouldn't have so much minded... but I work third shift, so I was in bed, had my alarm set and he didn't bother calling first as he was supposed to.
