My goal is not to get huge or anything, all this is for exercise because I have been pretty lazy(exercise related anyway) for a while. I just want to slim down some and add a little muscle but most of all stay active and get in better shape overall
I started walking last month on a treadmill I bought, I do it everyday and do at least 30 minutes, sometimes a little more. I started using a Fitbit at the same time and it has this little Fitstar app that does a little 7 minute work out which I started doing. It isnt much but it gets me a little exercise that is better than nothing. I also have a basic weight bench that I want to utilize better, one day I do some bench presses then the next day I do curls. It isnt a lot of weight but like I said early, it is better than nothing. What exercises with my weight bench could I add that I could do? Any suggestions on stuff to add/change? I dont have barbells so I have just been doing curls with the same bar I do bench presses with so I think i am going to buy some barbells.
Oh and I have cut out most of my excessive sugar, I used to drink only sweet tea, coffee with cream and water and now I only drink water and unsweet tea with sweet n low but water most of the time. I also cut out all the junk food I was eating frequently like fast food/candy and stuff like that.
