It's not beige, my friend. I was stunned when this case arrived from FedEx. I was building my parents a new system, and selected this case. When I opened it it was brilliantly silver with a very nice finish. I cannot stress the greatness of this case if you're looking for something normally classy.

And for future reference... THIS is beige.

I'm not entirely sure what case will present an air of "not a computer nerd" that isn't a Dell. If its a custom-build, it will show.

If you just want something that's not as flashy, just a Chieftec without the side window will work fine... although why do you care what anyone else thinks or what they assume about you based on your PC?

I dont know, I guess its from the hard time ive had in high school. its given me a bad opinion on how ppl treat others

meh... its a little bland for my tastes... I need something that at least has a gloss coating

Yep, You can see your reflection in it. Quiet, cool, stylish, not to big and not too small. Perfect case imo.

no, it doesn't show. people can get custom built computers from friends or colleagues or through some computer store that features a similar case, and that doesn't mean that the owner is a computer freak. i've seen so many of these at college (before the super cool custom cases were available) and nobody labeled my peers as computer freaks (as long as they didn't bring their laptops to class to take notes with)

i think the most important things you have to think about :

1. not too flashy
2. keeps everything QUIET (VERY IMPORTANT)

Case windows and lights just scream rice. You could look into a SFF, it has the cool factor without the kid factor, nice on transport too, especially since as an ATOTer, there's a good chance you weigh about a buck fifteen soaking wet and would have trouble lifting a full size case (no offense ). Noise can be a factor with the less expensive models though.

That's life, get used to it. Until the average human being is more intelligent than a mildly retarded slug this will not change. Don't hold your breath until that happens. Ricing out your PC case doesn't help matters.
