Like 10 years ago, I was watching late-night cartoons, and there was this old cartoon, it looked like it was from the 50's. It was all these creepily cute bunnies and deer and skunks, and they were the only things on the planet, there were no people. They were all singing and dancing and having a grand old time.
So this old rabbit, he's tucking his grandkid rabbit into bed, and the grandkid rabbit asks what humans were. And the old rabbit tells the kid this story about how stupid and evil people were, and how they went to war with each over. One side was vegetarians, one side was meat eaters. And this cartoon shows these CREEPY, shadowy, gasmask wearing people shooting each other with machine guns. FInally, two humans are left, one vegetarian and one meat eater, and they both shoot each other at the same time, and it shows them both slowly dying and sinking into a swamp.
Then it goes back to the grandkid rabbit being tucked in by the grandfather rabbit, and saying that people were so stupid and he's glad that it's only animals left. The grandfather rabbit agrees and that's the end.
I remember thinking, even back then, that this was an unbelievably screwed up cartoon. Now when I think back to it, it's even more creepy. I've told my friends about it, checked wikipedia and google, and I can find NOTHING that shows this cartoon ever existed. Surely someone else saw it. I'm not making this up, right? Someone help me out here!
