I never knew Democrats were such catastrophizers?

I have been reading the P&N threads this morning looking for some positive words for Bush's next term, but all I find is Democrats attacking Bush on his re-election day!! Democrats are such hypocrites however, when they tell Americans, Bush is trying to drive you to vote for him based off of fear.

You know Bush is going to run this country through God now, right?
You know Bush is and the Republican congress are going to ignore the liberals forever, right?
Bush is going to take away every last right you have!!!!
Gays will never have rights!!!!! (There is no way they will push through an amendment for banning same sex marriages)

Seriously, what is with the scare tactics? Democrats were saying the same things since 2000, that we were in a world of hurt and that the world was quite possibly coming to an end? I just don't see it? Maybe I am missing it, or maybe you guys just don't know how to lose.

the hardcore dems like conjur, dmcowen, jpeyton and moonbeam have closed their minds off a long time ago. i said it yesterday when kerry looked to be winning, if he had won i would have accepted him as president without any problems. fanatics don't see things that way though. its sad. they don't care about the democratic process, they want their candidate to be dictator apparently.

I have no choice but to accept Bush as president.I work in healthcare(public health) though and I harbor no delusions that this president is going to do anything that will improve the lives of our patients or our staff.

I'm more concerned about how to scramble to protect the patients we serve rather than congratulating anybody.

I'm sorry, but if you threw away all the other 'wrongs' from Dub's first 4 years, the Iraq was is enough to close my mind off from him.

He's not my President. I'll throw a big middle-finger up for the guy if I ever see him.

I am morally and ethically opposed to everything about the war in Iraq. His administration lied to us, period, done, end of story.

Everyone knows that the very FEW high dollar lawsuits will have a negligible impact on our health care costs.

What about reducing HUGE costs, by getting low cost drugs from Canada? How about lowering medicare premiums (now with record increases)?

When discussing health care, all Bush could do is attack Kerry's plan.

Someone tell me what Bush has planned to lower health care costs?

I'm more concerned about the thousands of nice,uninsured,working people coming thru our doors seriously ill and unable to get routine care or afford needed medications.I have to accept Bush as president, that doesn't mean I have to pretend to like him or his policies and the negative impact on people's lives that I see on a daily basis.
