Went into Office Depot and saw this I\O Magic 16x DVD Rom on the clearance shelf for $8.88.

Needless to say, I picked it up. I do not know if this is regional or nationwide.

i entered a zip code and it shows up as $19.04. typical OD pricing i must say

$8.88 is not a normal national clearance price. $19.04 is. Clearance prices with .88 are normally markdowns at the local store.

soundforbjt, did yours have a manual price sticker and the price had to be overridden at the register.?


<rant-on>I wish that folks who find these clearance deals at OD, Staples, OM and others would tell us whether the clearance price rang up at the register or not. This will normally tell us whether the clearance price is national or not. <rant-off>
