Yup. But with Tmobiles 30 dollar prepaid plan, I will save all that and more over a two year period.
Those contract subsidies are NOT worth the price. Especially if you go with AT&T or Verizon. To get the data I'd need with them, I'm looking at 130 a month.

Saving 100 a month means in a roundabout way the phone is paid off after 7 months. To get the subsidy I'd be locked in for 2 years and thats WAAAAYYYYY more expensive than 700.

It doesn't have AWS! You're going to be stuck on EDGE.

You should have bought the T-Mo version off contract.

Considering I'm already on contract AT&T, it would cost me way more that the phone is worth to such to a prepaid. Also, why would it be $130? My cost is $95/mo for the 450 minute plan and 2 gb data.

You are nuts if you think a nerd like me can get by with a mere 2 gigs of data. Especially on such an awesome phone. I will be streaming Netflix any time I'm not doing practical things.

According to GSM Arena:
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
Return/cancel it and wait for the T-Mo specific one with the 1700 band for AWS (which is 1700+2100).

So we want the N7105? You would think we'd be set with the unlocked version.
Edit: there are mixed specs on the net depending on what site you go to. This makes it confusing to know what model we need.
What model will allow us the best speeds on AT&T, Verizon, or t-mobile?

I'm still trying to decide of I really want a phone this big. It's definitely bad a** but not sure I need it.

@shorty: did you buy direct from amazon or one of the retailers through amazon?

Retailer. Amazon isnt selling them yet.
The seller I used had a good rating. 13000 reviews, 4.8 average. Got cancelled in 5 minutes. No big whoop.

PLease show me the fine print that says it doesnt work on tmobiles 4g. Or where is says anything about its network.

A simple Google search would show you what bands the international/whatever version you got is as well as the bands T-Mo uses.

This is like the lady at work who I told to buy a used phone from Craigslist to use with her Simple Mobile prepaid plan.
She goes out and bought a CDMA GSII and I told she screwed up.
Her answer was "well, you told me to buy it from CL".
I was like WTF ?? Do some research or ask somebody if you're not sure.
Take responsibility for your action.

A minor research would have shown that Tmobile uses 1700mhz for their 3G band.
Most international GSM phones only include ATT 3G bands.
If I was to buy a $700 phone, I'd would have done a bit of research or ask before making that big of a purchase.

The sexy asshole said "that fine print". There is no fine print. I am amazed at all the people on this forum who claim to be so fucking smart yet are clearly functionally illiterate.

Don't know why you're getting so damm hostile when no one have made any derogatory comments toward you.
The "fine print" is knowing what 3G bands that phone have compared to what T-mobile uses.

You are calling others illiterate, yet you're the one that ordered the incompatible phone...twice.
You did this same exact mistake with Lumia a few months ago thinking they were compatible with T-Mobile 4G bands.

If "all the people on this forum who claim to be so f*king smart yet are clearly functionally illiterate", then what does that make you?
They didn't make the same mistake you did...twice.

Almost all his posts are like that.

I guess you have way more free time than I do. When I'm not on my desktop/cable connection, I'm working or driving. I don't have time for Netflix.
