A few moons ago, i went to starbucks. one hand was my drink. other hand was my pastry. plus i was carrying a bookbag.
to unlock my car, i needed my keys. well, both hands were full of starbucks products. i put my drink on top of my car. got keys, and opened door. then took off backpack and put it in the car. then got in car, and started it. i completely forgot my drink. some kind person stopped me and pointed to my drink.
yesterday, as i was approaching starbucks, i noticed someone put his drink on the top of his car. then got into his car and started driving away. i flagged him down, and reminded him of his drink.
if it werent for my blunder a few months ago, i wouldnt have noticed other people putting drinks on top of their car. i would just goto my destination. now i do a quick scan of the top of cars in parking lots when i'm at fast food places.
If you have paid it forward, what's your story?
edit:
changed: payed = paid

I don't pay that forward because I know the guy with the broken tail light knows he has a broken tail light.
Love the bumper sticker. It confuses people who actually think about it since most bumper stickers are strident about one thing or another.Originally posted by: TeeJay1952
I prefer to call it a random act of kindness.
