My in-laws were mid-flight to Brussels when the attack happened and my brother-in-law was already there and on the way to the airport to meet them. Very lucky as they got stopped in London; if it was an hour later it could have been bad. Was a tense morning since we were not sure when exactly they were supposed to land!

In-laws huh? Well better luck next time I guess.
If anyone finds this post offensive try to remember it was only a joke.
the OP is either trolling, or an idiot incapable of assessing realistic risks.
well i've got a few weeks before i have to go
honestly i am getting sick just thinking about it, i better go to bed before i hyperventilate
great, now he's going to be afraid every time it rains in England...which is basically every dayYou're more likely to die from a lightning strike than be killed by a terrorist.
More likely to get killed crossing the street or driving to work as well.
Just go, and stop panicking over the "if it bleeds, it leads" media hysterics.
P.S. Homicides by firearm are another overblown media frenzy. Those have trended down for the past two decades and your relative risk of dying from any sort of violent crime is really, really low.
Protect yourself. You can never be too cautious. Give the ticket to me. I'll be there for you. And by there, I mean England. This was meant to be. I'm nearly fluent in the language.
9/11 happened in the U.S., and the OP didn't move out of the country for the sake of safety. In other words, the OP is either trolling, or an idiot incapable of assessing realistic risks.
To be fair, most people are idiots incapable of assessing realistic risks if the rhetoric spewed by our politicians on both sides of the aisle is any indication.
People have already said it--just go and enjoy yourself. You're more likely to get hit by a car leaving your house than caught up in a terrorist attack.
