Nope. I just snack more on popcorn and chips. Nothing too fattening.
Slamming water helps too.

I don't date ex-smokers. They will make me sad when they get lung cancer (my Grandfather had a lung removed so I have no sympathy for smokers).

I actually feel really good today... I normally wake up and get a craving immediately for a cigarette... I didn't today but I did have some really vivid dreams last night but nothing crazy.

nope... cold turkey here... I normally never remember any dreams and I remember 3 specific ones from last night... though 2 might have been the same one that just had 2 separate parts...

Vivid dreams are common upon nicotine cessation, they will ease up in a week or so.

I mean, we are pulling in people that I haven't seen in like 8 years into these dreams, and i did not smoke 8 years ago...

One was actually a dream that I was surprised I hadn't had, but involved a lot of things that all went together that had occurred in the last month or so....

other dream was just WEIRD.

It's all those nicotine receptors being deprived, takes awhile for the brain to adjust. Celery sticks (with ranch dip) seemed to help me, something to gnaw on I guess..

yea, thats what my toothpicks are for.

I haven't really had a bad craving today, it just goes through my head like 'wow i want a toothpick'

Congrats, hope you stick with it. Are you using anything like gum or patches to ease off the nicotine?

I don't know what's available now but I used nicotine gum for awhile. It helped with the physical part. The hard part is letting go of all the rituals, smoke w/ coffee, after eating etc

Well...

no...

After eating, i now grab a toothpick...

I walked to get my bike the other day which was located right where my class was, i took nothing, and normally I smoke on it...

still haven't had the whole sex then a cig craving cuz i aint had sex yet since quitting lol...
I also haven't really interacted with people in person lately as I am just trying to get off the cravings without having others... It's the one group that I am worried about hanging out with who all smoke cigs... so I haven't gotten drunk or anything yet but I dont think I am going to for a while.

And that was an ~8 mile ride (6.5-7miles hard... 1 mile around a metropark) 14 minutes for 3.5 miles...
