Companies got sued for selling reviews, so they turned around and did just what Amazon was doing through their Vine program - free product for an "honest" review. Now Amazon is left holding their nutbag and the reliability of their reviews have gone to the birds.yea I started noticing that as well. People will always find a way to game the system.
Examples, please. BTW, I agree with you. Everything is shit until proven otherwise. Can't trust Amazon reviews anymore. After years of never having a single return - I have returned a few in the past few weeks.
Everything has 4 or 5 star ratings these days.

I want free stuff for an honest review. I'll say it sucks and everything if it does. :'(
Google it, but don't expect to get much, as your account will be 'accountable' to pandering to the purpose, ie glowing 'credible' reviews, (or you'll likely get cut off or put on ice.)
Don't underestimate how much free stuff a company is willing to give away to get tons of reviews, especially smaller stuff. Most people have your mentality (including me), and it makes it all more than worth it to the bottom line. Fakespot is actually a very good resource, as it not only analyzes product reviews, but digs into individual profiles for historical review patterns. The more reviews there are the less they can game that system. I never buy products without dozens of reviews.
Running a 7770 atm. If Nvidia sends me a Titan I'd definitely give them a glowing review. :hmm:
You buy things based upon user reviews on Amazon? LOL
