I actually missed it by a week or so. I remember being terrified by the weather reports that said it was in the 100s over there. When I landed, I was really surprised how nice it was.

It was actually too cold to even use the pool at the hotel I was staying at. (Of course, I jumped in anyway!)

I do and I rarely us AC in my apartment. When I'm at work I don't leave the AC on there and when I get home I just use a box fan to vent it out. Since it always cools off at night I rarely have to use AC. Granted, with the 100+ heat wave I had to use AC about 8-10 hours on those days. But yeah, I would love to live on the beach or (gasp) move up to San Francisco (that would be the perfect weather for me.)
