I saw a 2003 Accord

I saw one while waiting at the bus stop. I have to say.. I like it. Looks 1337 for sure, regardless of how goofy it looks in photos. The front end is really well done, and the rear is unique.

Its really more of a driver's car. The true beauty of it is in the inside. I just LOVE how as soon as you put the key in the ignition...the LED instrumentation on the dash slowly starts to glow (slow glow=iBook style!) The steering feels MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more solid than the '02 Accord I drive, and I felt I had a better feel for where the nose and rear of the car were at all times while driving. I hate my steering wheel too, and I'm glad they made it beefier for '03.

They have been on the streets for a few weeks and you only saw your first one today? :Q I have been seeing 1 a day for a while and my neighbor already bought one last week. They look just as fugly as in the photos.

They do look pretty awesome in person. I was at a dealer but they only had autos in stock. I'm waiting for a 5speed b4 I hop behind the wheel.

Test drove one last week with the I4/auto and I'll admit it look pleasantly striking(in your face styling) at first sight, however, after some 10 minutes of snooping around, in and out, it started looking worst and worst(ugly). I won't say much about how it drives except that the whole time there was no mistaking that I was driving a Accord. However, the steering did feel a pinch faster than the previous one and the 5spd auto had alittle more Toyota-like smoothness(compared to past Honda automatics which were rough).

The front looks good. The headlight assambly expecially. The rear is fugly as in the photos. The interior seemed better built than the Altima's nonetheless.

I saw it on the road last Friday, the back looks ugly to me. The interior tho, is very nice.

bump...i posted high res pics of the interior. I think the interior quality is on par with Volkswagen Passat GLX in the EX and EX V6 models. VW's interior still looks 'cooler' though. A lot of the 'ugliness' in the new Accord has to do with the rear. In reality though, the car looks better from the rear than in photos because the tail/trunk does NOT extend as far as it looks like (trunk looks shorter than '02 trunk up close in person.)

I saw two today. I drove through the Honda dealership and saw a silver one parked outside. I pulled off just as the drooling salesman stepped out the door to try to make a sale

I saw a second one 10 seconds later in the mall parking lot as I pulled out of the Honda dealership. Another silver one. Front looks ok, but from the rear doors back it looks like crap.

Hmmm... just looked on Honda's site for the Accord Sedan. I see: RAV4 frontal headlights and Camry looking rear lights.

Is this Honda or Toyota ?!
