In an attempt to undervolt my sapphire 5870 from 1.100 further down to 1.050 (stock is 1.200) I made a mess...
When I turn on my PC, the following two images is all I can see:

then
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xeotwzbcqc1aks9/2014-02-21 21.23.50.jpg
and after a bit it goes completely blank.
When I initially undervolted the card, the same thing happened, the screen immidiatelly started filling up with those artifacts. I rebooted the PC thinking I would be able to fix it/revert it.
Now the issue here is: the motherboard passes POST, there are no LED error codes displayed. Both GPUs are emitting the video signal (display is not idle/in sleep mode). I've tried both my GPUs individually in all 3 of the motherboard's PCI-e slots and I was not able to get a good video signal.
I tested the XFX 7850 in another rig and it powered up just fine, I have not tested the 5870 but at least I have determined that it is not a video card issue.
What can I troubleshoot next?
It is an Asrock P67 Extreme4 mobo with an i5 2500k. I do not have another sandy bridge chip I can put in the mobo to test it. I only have an Ivy Celeron (G1620) and i5 (3570k). I don't want to mess things up further because I don't know if the motherboard has the latest BIOS which supports Ivy bridge CPUs so I don't think it would be a valid troubleshooting step. But I guess I could try the Celeron tomorrow.
I would appreciate any input!
