The chat is half the fun of FPS games. The best is when you are doing half decent and they get super pissed off because you're better than they are. It's even more funny for me since I'm generally not that great at games to begin with so when I actually am playing better and they start to call me various words such as "bundle of sticks" it just makes it even funnier. The more mad they get the easier it seems to be to kill them, their rage makes them suck more lol. They get even more mad when I say that I'm not even that great. They think I'm trying to show off or something and I'm really just playing normally.

But yeah, bundle of sticks, or homosexual seems to be a rather popular word on FPS games lol.

I never played Counter Strike. Isn't there more than one? I was used to this crap and just dished it back. Then I loaded my cheats and went after their ass with the nametag hack. I was on their ass constantly. Then they had something to bitch about.

BF2 and BF2142. Damn those were great days. You can still play online with a third party client now that GameSpy shut down.

I played Global Offensive yesterday. Its got the best graphics and tons of weapons and mods. But the community isnt so friendly.

This is true for the most part, but there is very little in way of competative play in VR yet. The thing that bothers me at the moment are all the people who think taking large bong hits into their mic is cool. I turn most voice chat off by default so I dont have to deal with idiots.

True...Rec Room & Onward is about as competitive as it gets.

Installed base needs to grow, but that won't happen until the price drops. Catch 22
