I should've stuck with engineering

only in a technical workplace type setting, I can be somewhat competent

I graduated with a degree in Mech Eng and I was only an average student in high school. You just can't leave your homework in your locker like you did in high school. You actually have to work at it. Besides, I found once you made it through the first year it got considerably more tolerable.

..if your a good problem solver and can REALLY read and analyze schematics there's huge oppertunities in public employment.. mass transit i.e. train control and automatic train control systems and way side train control support. Help keep all the chu chu's going.

Wow, I found it only got more difficult after the first year. I am in grad school and these classes are the most difficult ever.

I didn't mean to suggest you have to be brilliant to be an engineer, but rather the opportunity, a moderate ability in applied physics, and I'd even venture to say 'an interest in the field'. It's the sort of thing that would be too boring for a human to bear if one wasn't at least intersted in it.

yes.. I was a big computer geek in high school so I never developed the proper social skills... I find it hard to mesh in with people
it's weird.. I was improving greatly in terms of communication and dealing with people... as soon as I return to the U.S... I'm completely over worrying and anxious around people now.. I don't what happened to me.
