Sometimes in the morning, sometimes at night, depending on my mood and schedule.

What about those who shower before and after lunch?

I work from home, so it makes it easy for me.

Once when I wake up.

Once after lunch. (I don't enjoy smelling like the food I just ate)

Once after dinner. (same reason)

And once before I go to bed.

And I tumble my clothes in the dryer each time while I shower to "refresh" them.

I shower in the morning and after a workout. When I bathe, it?s always a long hot bath at night.

Waste water much?

This is the same guy that in multiple threads has commented on how he thinks very hot "older" women aren't hot at all. Me thinks he never gets any, no girl can put up with his habits.

What about after breakfast? or snacks?
P.S. other than potatoes & curry, what foods have the effect you describe?

I prefer the morning shower, but sometimes, the not wanting to wake up early to do so makes me take one at night.

And I thought I had it bad. When I am working at least twice sometimes up to 4 times a shift (24hrs). Although thats as a professional firefighter / EMS. After some of the calls you just need a shower and a fresh uniform.

Any food that is warm will stick to me.

For breakfast, I usually have a baked snack of some sort that gives off little smell, like cake, so a shower afterward is not required.

But for lunch, any warm food that gives off any sort of moderate smell will stick to me. Any sort of fast food to prime rib or even soup. Almost anything that is warm.

It is my belief that smells stick to me easily because I emit a very low amount of body heat. I am what you would call "wirey." Tall, skinny, yet dashingly handsome. So the my low amounts of body heat are unable to destroy the smell on me and my clothes. For most people smells go away quickly because they emit more heat (mostly because they're fatter), but for me this is not so.

But at any rate, I must feel perfectly clean and my clothes need to be "refreshed" before I begin working again (I work from home). If my skin is the least bit oily, I can't concentrate.

Honestly, I do have OCD. However, most of my OCD is not my showering habits. I stay extremely clean and avoid germs, but I'm not irrational about it. I don't wash my hands with bleach or refuse to shake people's hands as some with this disorder do.

I mostly worry about leaving doors unlocked, the garage door open, and I only drive on streets that give me a good feeling. I'll drive miles out of my way to drive on streets I like when going somewhere and avoding streets I dislike. I also have a few others I will not say, which are not embarassing, but are just difficult to explain.

I shower at night, but I sometimes work out in the morning, which requires a morning shower.
